On this channel I am sharing the highs and lows of the creation of my new no dig homestead Ael Y Bryn, on just under half an acre on a hill in Ceredigion.
Passionate about healthy food, plants and soil, I have been growing my own for over 30 years, using no dig methods for 13 years. I moved here with my family in March 2021, leaving a productive no dig garden in Somerset where I’d lived for 20 years.
The first no dig bed was made using cardboard & compost on a weedy lawn on March 31st 2021. Follow my journey as I aim to be as self sufficient as possible here.
