I write about no dig gardening, potion making, seasonal recipes and other sustainable homesteading and self sufficiency topics – all based on my own experience.

Please contact me if you would like to discuss commissioning an article or blog.

I write regular monthly features for Kitchen Garden Magazine, regularly  for Permaculture Magazine International and The Landsman and also for other publications Gardens Illustrated,  Permaculture Magazine North America,  Vegan Organic Network, and guest blogs for national companies, organisations and people, including this one for Mr Plant Geek.

My photographs have been published in newspapers and magazines worldwide, including National Geographic, Somerset Life and Gardener’s World Magazine, also many of Charles’ books – as well as my own work which is almost entirely illustrated by my photographs.

I wrote recipes for Chapter 10 in the 2018 edition of Charles Dowding’s Salad Leaves for All Seasons.

You can buy this book from Charles’ website.
