No Dig Talks at BBC Gardeners’ World Live

I am delighted to be returning to BBC Gardeners’ World Live on 15th and 16th June, where I’ll be sharing the joys of no dig gardening on an exciting new show garden: The Secret Homestead, as one of the team of experts at the show.

Designed by Lucy Hutchings (SheGrowsVeg on Instagram), Lucy says : “The homespun image of the veg patch will resonate with many, but not everyone. The Secret Homestead aims to break from traditional ‘tropes’ and explore the possibilities of just what edible gardens can be. With a talks area integrated into the Garden, you’ll be able to drop in through your day at the Show to pick up top tips on growing your own tasty produce!”

As a homesteader of the homespun variety (!), I am very much looking forward to seeing Lucy’s exploration into what a homesteader’s show garden can be. It’s always interesting to see new ideas and interpretations of growing your own.

Sorry that there haven’t been any more chatty blogs recently. I’ve had a lot of work on and, after that very cold and dark spring, everything has now sprung to life in the garden and I am racing to catch up! Really looking forward to blogging properly here again soon. Meanwhile, I have been able to upload some videos about what I am doing in the garden here on my You Tube channel 🙂
