I am delighted to be speaking about no dig gardening on the Let’s Grow Your Own Stage at BBC Gardeners’ World Live on June 17th 2022.

I’ll be there at 1pm and 4pm, do come along and say hello if you are attending the event at the NEC in Birmingham.

I was last at BBC Gardeners’ World Live in June 2019 (here I am speaking about no dig gardening) and was booked for the following year too but, of course, covid intervened.

Here’s a blog I wrote about my visit there in 2019.

So I am thrilled to be able to go back and explore the show gardens and other exhibits, as well as listen to some of the many fascinating talks at the event. As I am there for Press Day on the Wednesday, I’ll also be at the show on Thursday, so do come and say hello if you’re at the show then.

It’s a bit too far to commute from rural Wales (4 hour drive each way!) and so I am making the most of the opportunity and will be there for 2 1/2 days – what a treat! Before heading off to Birmingham I’m busy getting everything planted, pricked out and potted on, to make things easier for my son Ruairi who will be here watering.

As well as Gardeners’ World Live, the venue is also hosting the BBC Good Food Show, so I am looking forward to exploring that too.

I’ll be posting regular updates on my social media from the show, on Instagram and Twitter, and sharing the highlights here in my blog afterwards.

Apologies that I haven’t yet been able to write up about Chelsea Flower Show here in my blog. It was fantastic but shortly after returning I came down with a head cold and have been rather washed out. Feeling fine now though and hope to be able to write a Chelsea blog very soon.

Now back out to the garden to plant more things!!
