Courses here at the Homestead for 2025 – a quick update

Learn how to grow your own food, self sufficient homesteading skills, permaculture and more on the courses at my homestead in Ceredigion. I am looking forward to welcoming you here in 2025.

As many of you will know, I do (almost!) everything here myself and so it does take a long time to upload each of the courses individually, so please do bear with me 🙂 I lost power here for several days thanks to the storm and am behind with all of my online and computer work, but am working hard to catch up.

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me for your patience. As some of you will know, I am currently working on my next book (can’t wait to tell you all about that, but for now it is still under wraps) and am busy working on edits this weekend. Once they are in next week, and the next articles completed for the magazines I write for, then I can put up the rest of the dates for you.

There are no February courses here in 2025, due to the storm. I will be starting 2025 learning many new skills in repairing shed roofs and replacing greenhouse glass!!

As always, if you have any questions about the courses here, or if you’d like to discuss running one where you are, please contact me.

Prices

For 2025, despite increased prices for insurances etc (hasn’t everything gone up in such an alarming way?!) I have kept prices the same as in previous years to help make them more affordable for people, and also introduced an easier way to book discounted courses for those on low incomes. Learning how to grow your own, and what to do with your abundant harvests, is such an important skill, especially these days of ever increasing food prices, so I am trying to help as many people as possible learn – whilst also of course needing to earn a living to pay my mortgage and bills.

New for 2025

New for 2025, there are some shorter half day courses – two in one day so you can choose to book just one, or both – and also some new course topics – see below.

All courses so far are on Saturday or Sunday, and most have a course each day, so you can make a weekend of it.

There will also be online via Zoom workshops and presentations starting in January.
