Talks, workshops and events 2024

Every year I travel the UK and beyond, speaking at many shows and events – it is marvellous fun and I really enjoy the opportunity to meet and chat with so many lovely people.

I’ve been sharing the joy of growing your own and seasonal cooking at shows, festivals and other events for 14 years, and since I moved to Wales in 2021 have spoken across the UK and beyond including RHS Chelsea Flower Show (where I spoke about soil on the BBC Blue Peter Garden), RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival (including designing and project managing an RHS show garden), RHS Wisley Flower Show, Harrogate Autumn Garden Festival, Carlow Food Festival in Ireland, BBC Gardeners’ World Live, London Permaculture Festival and to gardening societies and businesses up and down the country.

2024 is going to be a bit different. I’ll be spending more time here at my homestead in Wales where I am running courses and workshops, including some new topics.

Why? I am working on a new book which will be published by Frances Lincoln in 2025, and much as I love travelling about, I need to be here working on this exciting project. I can not wait to be able to tell you all about this book.

During 2024 I will be speaking at some events, including RHS Bridgewater in March, BBC Gardeners’ World Live in June, RHS Wisley Garden Show in September plus lots of talks and events across Wales including at the Dragon’s Garden and Lampeter Food Festival.

I’ll be visiting others with my “press hat” on, including The Garden Press Event in February, Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Garden Festival.

My kittens are delighted that I won’t be away quite so much this year!
