SUMMARY:Growing Year Round Day Course at Hafod Estate
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to grow your own food year round on this day course at Hafod Estate in Ceredigion\, on August 3rd 2025. 10am to 4pm \nAugust is a key time for sowing many food crops which will provide harvests throughout the winter and into the following spring. On this course I’ll explain how to grow a productive\, flourishing food garden which produces food year round\, using organic\, wildlife friendly and permaculture methods. \nThe day includes:\nsowing schedules and planning\nplanting timings\npicking for longer harvests\ncrop protection (including how to make your own)\ngrowing undercover\nprotecting the soil from extremes of weather\nmaking the most from your harvests\ncomposting\ngreen manures\nand more! \nTickets are £35 (£17.50 for members of the Hafod allotmenteers) and are available to buy here.
